From school through adulthood, Madonna Ability Alliance empowers individuals with diverse abilities to learn, grow, and throughout their lives.
The Meyer Foundation for Disabilities (MFD) serves some of the most vulnerable people in our community—adults with developmental disabilities. We serve individuals in the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro and surrounding areas.
Moms Offering Moms Support is what our club is all about!
Mothers Connected by Down Syndrome (DSA Moms) is a subgroup of the Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands. It is an active and engaged community of moms who reside in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. We gather to lend one another support as we travel this common journey. While we face many of the same issues, we all have unique experiences and perspectives. We all benefit from sharing resources, tips, advice and friendship.
M4K Omaha utilizes volunteer mustache-growing campaigns to raise funds and awareness for charitable organizations in the Omaha area.
The intent of the Developmental Disabilities Act and the Council is to reverse the historical bias against individuals with disabilities by focusing on five major goals areas: Independence, Productivity, Integration, Inclusion, Self-Determination. The Nebraska Council on Developmental Disabilities is located within the Division of Public Health in the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
