Description
Your rider will begin the week on iCan Shine’s specialized equipment. As they progress through the week, families are required to bring a personal bike that the rider will be riding after camp so they can practice on that bike. If your child already has a bike at home, you can bring it to the first day of camp. If you plan to purchase a new bike, PLEASE WAIT until after the start of camp so the instructors can guide you on the size and any other tips they see fit for your rider. Riders should have their own bike at camp no later than Thursday. Your camper will be carefully supported by our iCan Shine Supervisor and Bike Technician throughout the week, along with our wonderful volunteer spotters. Team members from Pediatric Therapy Center, Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands and Autism Society of Nebraska will also be on hand to support and encourage your loved one. If you have any questions or concerns during the week, please do not hesitate to ask us.
