SUMMARY:Zoo Night at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium
DESCRIPTION:Join AAP for an exclusive Zoo Night for the autism community on Saturday\, August 29th at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo!\n\n\nPLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING\nThis is a night for people on the autism spectrum and their loved ones who may not get to go to the Zoo other times of the year due to a number of different factors such as sensory differences. Please only sign up if you are part of this community\, as it could be taking away the opportunity for another family who only gets to go during these events.\n\n\nDue to the overwhelming popularity of our recent zoo events—and a high number of no-shows after registration—we’re continuing with registration limits and a small\, non-refundable fee to help ensure spots are reserved by those who truly plan to attend. Our goal is to make sure as many families as possible can enjoy this special experience together!\n\n\nPLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING TOMORROW\nImportant details:\n– $2 NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE reservation fee\n– Please reserve a spot for every person attending in your family\n– Please only register for your family. If you are planning to attend with another family as a group\, have them register separately\n– This is an after-hours event — some animals may not be visible due to their natural sleep cycles\n– Concessions will be available\n– Wheelchairs/strollers are available for rental\n\n\nReserve your spot: https://autismaction.org/…/making-memories-zoo-night-3…

SUMMARY:Bring 'Em Home Nebraska Search for Ryan
DESCRIPTION:SEARCH REMINDER – RYAN LARSEN\n\n\nJust a reminder that Bring ’Em Home Nebraska will be conducting a search for Ryan Larsen this Sunday\, August 23rd\, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Walnut Creek Recreation Area.\n\n\nA few reminders for everyone planning to join us:\n\n\n* Long pants and long-sleeved shirts are highly recommended. We’ll be searching in areas where ticks\, mosquitoes\, and other insects may be present.\n* We will try to have bug spray available\, but if you have your own\, we highly recommend bringing and using it.\n* While no one will be asked to enter the lake\, some areas may be wet or muddy\, so please wear appropriate shoes or boots.\n* We will have water available for our search volunteers.\n\n\n MEETING LOCATION:\nWalnut Creek has several entrances and different addresses associated with the recreation area\, which can cause some confusion. Please refer to the map posted with the event. The RED PIN marks the location where we will be meeting.\n\n\nWhen you arrive\, look for the red 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. That is where we will be set up to check in volunteers\, provide instructions\, and get everyone assigned to the appropriate search areas.\n\n\nKnowing approximately how many volunteers we will have is very important when planning and organizing the search. If you haven’t already\, please go to the Facebook event and mark whether you’ll be attending. You are absolutely still welcome to come even if you haven’t responded\, but having the closest possible estimate ahead of time makes planning much easier for us.\n\n\nWe’re looking forward to seeing everyone Sunday and truly appreciate everyone who continues to give their time and effort to help search for Ryan. We know Ryan’s family is extremely grateful for everyone who has contributed and continues to contribute.\n\n\nWe also anticipate sharing information Sunday about our next scheduled search\, which has not yet been released publicly.\n\n\nThank you\, and we’ll see you Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
